Fisher

Biography.
Picture the most Gold Coast human possible: ex-pro surfer who somehow turned that same adrenaline + mischief into tech-house that hits like a pressure washer. FISHER’s whole thing is big, rubbery basslines, cheeky vocal hooks, and drops that make even non-dancers start bouncing. He came up through the Australian scene, went global fast, and now sits in that sweet spot where he’s credible in clubland and ridiculously scalable for festivals.

Facts.
1 - He was already a character long before he became a DJ — in the surf world he’d built a following with “Follow The Fish”-type content, basically messing around, chatting to people, and being the class clown of the lineup. So the FISHER “brand” didn’t get invented by a team later; it’s just him, turned up to festival scale.
2 - The “rave mum” thing is real He’s talked about how his mum is genuinely a raver — like, still going hard at afters at 74. He literally learned rave culture from his mum — it’s not just a cute anecdote. He’s said she’s genuinely a raver (still turning up, even doing afters in her 70)
